Day 2Aberdare to Ol Pejeta Conservancy Aberdare to Ol Pejeta Conservancy Following breakfast, you'll bid farewell to Aberdare Park and journey northward, treated to stunning views of Mount Kenya, the highest peak in the country. Upon reaching Ol Pejeta, prepare for an extraordinary wildlife experience. The park is home to six resident prides of lions, offering you the chance to spot these majestic predators in their natural habitat. Additionally, you may encounter cheetahs, leopards, and packs of African wild dogs, a unique feature of this sanctuary. Throughout the sanctuary, you'll also find a diverse array of wildlife including giraffes, impalas, gazelles, zebras, hippos, monkeys, and baboons. Of particular significance, Ol Pejeta boasts a remarkably large population of black rhinos, protected within a specially designated game corridor, making it a vital sanctuary for the conservation of this endangered species.
