Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park with an en-route game drive to the lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will check in, enjoy a scrumptious lunch and have a short rest before going for your afternoon game drive in the park. The park is home to warthog, waterbuck, buffalo, reedbuck, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhinos at the southern end. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Many flamingos, hippos and other waterbirds can be seen here.
