You will enjoy these and bypass tea plantations. You will stop in Fort Portal for lunch before you proceed to Kibale. You will arrive at your accommodation in the late afternoon for overnight. Kibale National Park has an area of 795 km2 containing a tropical forest and is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees. After the wonderful experience with the chimpanzees, you will have lunch and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your way into the park, enjoy a game drive and then proceed to your accommodation for overnight. After the game drive, you will head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. During the cruise, you will have a chance to see aquatic wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including the African fish eagle. The boat ride will also give you a chance to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of the park. On your way, you will have a game drive in the Ishasha sector, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park with many tree-climbing lions. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species, including blue-throated broadbill, bar-tailed trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Day 5Gorilla Trekking Gorilla Trekking This morning, you will get up very early to prepare for the highlight of your safari - gorilla trekking. You will drive to the trekking station (depending on your gorilla permits). Trekking the mountain gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 7 hours but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger.
