You'll enjoy lunch along the way as the scenery shifts into dense tropical forest. Day 2Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park You’ll start the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, home to the highest concentration of primates in Africa. The park shelters over 1,500 chimpanzees, as well as several other species such as red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkeys. After a briefing from the park rangers, you’ll set off into the forest in search of a chimpanzee troop. Once you find them, you’ll spend up to one unforgettable hour observing their behavior — watching them feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. After the experience, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations, and relax on arrival. Day 3Game Drive and Boat Safari at Kazinga Channel Game Drive and Boat Safari at Kazinga Channel You'll start your morning with a scenic drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations. The park is home to an incredible variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and elusive leopards, often seen lounging in the shade. In the afternoon, you'll set off on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the world’s largest hippo populations. You’ll glide past massive pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the banks, and large herds of elephants and buffalo coming to drink. Few places in Africa offer such consistent and close-up encounters with wildlife. In the evening, you'll continue with a sunset game drive. Day 4Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Today, you'll leave the open savannah landscapes behind and journey toward Uganda’s ancient montane forests, a dramatic change in scenery and atmosphere. As you travel deeper into the highlands, the environment becomes cooler, greener, and more densely forested — the natural home of the endangered mountain gorillas. This day marks a transition from classic wildlife viewing to one of Africa’s most remarkable forest experiences. Day 5Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Today, you’ll trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a short briefing, you'll set off with your guide into the forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families. Once located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them up close — playing, moving through the trees, and interacting with each other in their natural environment. After the trek, you'll come back to your lodge and rest after such an incredible adventure. Day 6Lake Mburo National Park Lake Mburo National Park Today, you'll leave the ancient forest behind and drive to Lake Mburo National Park — Uganda’s smallest but one of its most scenic parks. After checking in and taking a short rest at your lodge, you’ll head out for an evening game drive, a great time to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, and other antelope species as the light softens and animals become more active.
