Arusha

Your guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport and drive you into Arusha City. Once you're settled at Njiro Legacy Hotel, you'll take a city tour that hits the main cultural spots like Kilombero Market, Maasai Market, the Clock Tower, and Uhuru Tower. It's a good way to get your bearings and see what the city has to offer before heading into the parks.

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll leave at 7:30 AM for Tarangire National Park, where large elephant herds roam year-round. During the dry season there's often a mini migration too. The entire day is spent on game drives, and you'll likely see elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and Thomson's Gazelles. There's a lunch break at a picnic site, then you'll head back and settle in for the night around 4 PM.

Serengeti National Park

You'll have breakfast and then head out in a safari jeep toward Serengeti, passing along the Ngorongoro Crater rim. After checking in at the crater's gate, the drive to Serengeti's Nabi gate takes about 3.5 to 4 hours. Once you arrive, you'll go on a game drive in Central Serengeti around Seronera, where lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunt among the acacia trees. Lunch happens at a picnic site partway through, and game drives continue into the evening at Seronera Campsite.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The morning starts early with a light breakfast at 5:30 AM and a sunrise game drive at 6 AM. By 10 AM you'll be back for a more substantial breakfast, then head out again. Lunch comes at 1 PM at a picnic site. All told, you'll spend at least 6 hours on game drives in Serengeti using four-wheel pop-up safari jeeps. You'll exit around 3 PM and drive to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara

After breakfast at 7 AM at Simba Campsite, your driver picks you up at 8 AM to begin descending into Ngorongoro Crater. You'll spend at least 6 hours on game drives in four-wheel pop-up jeeps down on the crater floor. There's a lunch stop at a picnic site at 1 PM, and then you'll exit around 3 PM to head to Ngedere Lodge or Kizumba Campsite for the night.

Breakfast is at 7 AM at the lodge, then a pickup at 8 AM takes you into Lake Manyara National Park for at least 6 hours of game drives in four-wheel pop-up jeeps. Lunch happens at a picnic site around 1 PM. By 4 PM you'll exit the park and head back to Arusha Town, wrapping up your safari experience.
