Following the tour, you'll proceed on a scenic 3-hour drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda, enjoying stunning views along the way. Lunch will be served en route, with arrival expected late in the afternoon. You will cross the border into Uganda and overnight at a property close to Mgahinga NP where you will undertake golden monkey trekking the next day. Rangers will share insights on the park, golden monkey troops, and guidelines for the trek. The trek typically lasts 3-5 hours, and you'll have an hour with the vocal and dynamic monkeys to capture memorable photos. In the afternoon, drive 3 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight. The trek duration (4-8 hours) and terrain depend on the gorillas' movements. Spend an unforgettable hour with these gentle giants once you find them. A packed lunch will be provided to keep you energized throughout the strenuous gorilla trekking activity. Return to the lodge and drive to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park's Ishasha sector to spot tree-climbing lions the next morning. Enjoy the picturesque view if you're lucky! Then, continue to the Kasenyi Plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving at the lodge for lunch and an afternoon 2 our boat cruise along Kazinga Channel that connects lakes Edward and George. You will enjoy views of hippos, water birds, elephants coming to refresh and crocodiles among other animals during the boat ride. After the boat ride, an evening game drive awaits in this part of the park followed with dinner. Following a ranger briefing, embark on a guided trek through the lush forest to track and observe these dynamic primates, amidst a rich array of wildlife and bird species. Return to the lodge for some rest time and lunch and then check out to transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. When you arrive, head out for an evening game drive. Expect to spot impressive wildlife, including eland antelopes, zebras, topi, impalas, Uganda kob, and Cape buffalos. After a thrilling game drive, unwind at your accommodation for the night. Optional: For an extra charge, consider a night game drive, where you might encounter nocturnal creatures like snakes, hyenas, owls, and the rare leopard (if you're lucky!).
