You will be picked by our representative from the hotel and depart for the western Uganda journey and you will stop by Mbarara town for lunch. Arrive in the evening and check in at the hotel for Dinner and overnight at Irungu forest safari lodge. Day 2Game drive and a Boat cruise at the Kazinga channel Game drive and a Boat cruise at the Kazinga channel Wake up very early in the morning for a cup of tea and begin your wildlife safari with a game drive following the Kasenyi miles track expecting to encounter animals such as Uganda kob, topis, elephants, bushbucks, lions and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for breakfast; relax as you wait for your lunch. In the afternoon transfer to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise expecting to see different species of birds such as the African skimmer; rare shoebill stork, waterbucks, pelicans, papyrus gonolek and large numbers of crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes along the shores. Overnight stay at your previous Hotel. Day 3Chimpanzee tracking and visit Crater lakes Chimpanzee tracking and visit Crater lakes After your morning breakfast you will drive to kalinzu forest for an amazing chimpanzee trekking, you will enjoy these intriguing apes and perhaps have more time with them. Then later in the day, you will head for an evening game drive that will take you to the most thrilling crater lakes. Due to its location in the western arm of the East African Rift Valley, Rubirizi is endowed with 56 craters of which 32 are crater lakes. Among the lakes are two pairs of twin lakes which you will explore during the drive, thereafter return to the lodge for an overnight. Day 4Drive back to Kampala Drive back to Kampala After your breakfast in the morning you will depart for Kampala. Lunch will be in Mbarara and continue with the journey. Stop-over at the equator for photography and arrive in the evening at Entebbe airport for your scheduled flight back home.
