Maun to Morematao
Day 1Maun to Morematao Maun to Morematao Upon arrival in Maun, your ranger will greet you for the 20-minute journey to Boteti Tented Safari Lodge. After a swift check-in, enjoy a cool drink while learning about safari activities. Relax with lunch or a swim before a 2-hour mokoro safari with a stunning sunset. Spot wildlife like crocodiles and hippos at the river's edge. Your experienced guide will share insights during the adventure. Rest and join us by the fire for wine and a traditional supper catered to various dietary needs. Spend the night in a luxurious safari tent. Please note: Currently (until further notice), the complimentary 2-hour mokoro ride on the Boteti River is suspended due to low water levels. Unfortunately, the river has dried up in front of the lodge. Instead, guests will take a short stroll on the banks towards the water pools where hippos and crocodiles gather. It was a great tour, friendly conversations on ride to safari park. Park was amazing got to see lions up close & personal. Even a black panther close up. Amazing, it was beyond my expectations. Good value for money.
They are quite well, organized and offered a very good service!
It was a unique experience with our guide Durin, we have seen a leopard, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, a lot of elephants, antilopes, impalas, a crocodile and a lot more.
All tours were on time, with polite, gentle and professional guides. The only thing I would said that was not good is about the Pillanesberg Day Tour: the vehicle used to transport us to the Pillanesberg Park was too short, very...
