You'll arrive at Awash National Park and explore the dramatic Awash River Gorge and thundering Awash Waterfalls, where Nile Crocodiles and soaring raptors make the scene truly wild. You'll take a morning game drive in Alidegy Reserve, spotting Soemmerring’s gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, Beisa oryx, Plains Zebra, and possibly predators like leopard, lion, or caracal. Watch for Secretary Birds, Ostriches, Bustards, and Hornbills. After lunch at the lodge or in the reserve, you'll enjoy an afternoon game drive in Awash National Park, observing Colobus monkeys, warthogs, klipspringers, and colorful birds like rollers, kingfishers, and bee-eaters. You'll relax in the hot springs at Doho Lodge in the evening, letting the warmth ease your muscles after a full day of wildlife adventures. Overnight stay: Doho Lodge. After breakfast at Doho Lodge, you'll begin the return drive to Addis Ababa, with scenic stops along the way.
