In the late afternoon, head out for an exciting evening game drive in the Kasenyi sector, one of the park’s prime wildlife areas. As temperatures cool, animals become more active, offering excellent chances to spot elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and large prides of lions preparing for the night’s hunt. Keep an eye out for leopards resting in fig trees and a variety of bird species along the tracks. The golden sunset over the crater lakes and open plains provides spectacular photography moments. Return to the lodge at dusk for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
