Day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park Arusha to Tarangire National Park After breakfast at 7:00 am, leave Arusha city for Tarangire National Park. The drive may take up to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival at the park gate, the guide will assist you with registration before entering the park. After registration, you will begin your search for wildlife and stop for lunch in the afternoon. You will continue the game drive until evening, then head to your luxury Serena lodge, located in the escarpment of Manyara, with a breathtaking view of the lake. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is wonderful for game viewing due to the permanent river flowing through it. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the Dry season. The park is well known for its large groups of elephants, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. Other wildlife includes both predators and herbivores such as lions and leopards. Day 2Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater (Black Rhinos & Flamingos) Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater (Black Rhinos & Flamingos) After a delicious breakfast at 6:30 am, we will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a wonderful game drive. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the world's UNESCO World Heritage sites, recognised under both natural and cultural criteria. Once you descend into the crater, you will have a great chance to spot the Big Five animals, including prides of lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, leopards and black rhinos. Bird species, such as flamingos, live in the crater lakes and enjoy an amazing natural environment within the crater. Be ready to see many varieties of wild animals here within a minute. After the game drives, we’ll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. We will depart at 7:30 am for Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manayara National Park is nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Known for its diverse landscapes, the park is home to iconic tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species around the alkaline Lake Manyara. Enjoy a captivating game drive, exploring lush forests and open savannahs. Later, return to Arusha, where your safari ends.
