Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, a refined retreat perched in the southern reaches of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You'll settle into your private stone cottage, surrounded by panoramic views of the Virunga volcanoes. The afternoon is yours to unwind in comfort or choose from optional cultural activities, such as visiting the nearby Batwa community or exploring Nkuringo village. In the evening, you'll enjoy a gourmet dinner and a personalized briefing to prepare for your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. You'll trek through lush forest trails until you find the gorillas. Then, you'll spend a remarkable hour observing these magnificent creatures up close — watching their playful interactions and peaceful daily routines in their natural habitat. After your trek, you'll return to the lodge for a complimentary 45-minute massage to soothe your muscles and relax.
