Day 1Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve Your driver will pick you up from the city center around 7:00am. You can now visit a supermarket to buy snacks or anything else you would like for the trip. Afterward, you will depart for one of the renowned viewpoints in the Great Rift Valley, where you will receive a brief overview of the valley's formation and Kenya's history. After the viewpoint, you will drive for another two hours to Narok Town for lunch. After lunch, you will continue on a bumpy road for approximately 2.5 hours, giving you a glimpse of the true Kenyan jungle and allowing you to encounter Maasai villages along the way. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, you will check into the lodge for two nights. After refreshing yourself, you will embark on a late afternoon guided game drive in the park. If you are lucky, you may spot one or two of the Big Five during your exploration. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Day 2Masai Mara National Reserve Masai Mara National Reserve Wake up at 6:30am and proceed to the dining hall for a buffet breakfast prepared by our chef. You will have 30 to 45 minutes to enjoy breakfast before departing for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Our driver will open the vehicle's pop-up roof, allowing you to stand and enjoy an unobstructed view of the wildlife. Be prepared to see animals up close, and we advise all guests to keep their cameras ready. The animals are in their natural habitats, and action can happen anytime! Lunch will be served during the drive, and you will have the opportunity to visit the hippo pool, where, with a bit of luck, you might spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Additionally, you can expect to see various plains game, including antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, and Maasai giraffes, as well as scavengers like hyenas and vultures. After lunch, you will continue with another afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge around 5:00pm for dinner and your overnight stay.
