Visit to the Batwa pygmy community. The Batwa were the original inhabitants of the Bwindi impenetrable forest but were driven away from the park to allow for mountain gorilla conservation. Day 2Gorilla trekking experience +Transfer back to Rwanda and departure Gorilla trekking experience +Transfer back to Rwanda and departure Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the Uganda wildlife officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut. The gorilla trekking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. Return to the lodge for lunch and little bit of relaxation you will be transferred back to Rwanda. Prepare for a long scenic drive back to Rwanda with the beautiful country sides, great hills and valleys plus many locals along the way on their daily activities. Cross via Cyanika border and continue to to Kigali intl Airport for your flight back home.
