Day 1Nairobi - Lake Nakuru Nairobi - Lake Nakuru You will be picked up from the airport or a hotel in Nairobi and then participate in a briefing before beginning your safari. The first highlight of our tour will be Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is the most well-known lake in the Rift Valley. It is famous for its flamingos and is one of the natural wonders of the world. At any given moment there may be up to two million flamingos at the lake, which form a beautiful pink ribbon around the shore. In addition to seeing this amazing scenery, we also have a good chance of seeing rhinos and leopards. Our lodge also features a magnificent view over the lake. Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
Day 2Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara After an early breakfast and game drive in Lake Nakuru, we will drive to Masai Mara. This is considered one of the largest and most beautiful protected areas in Kenya. After an on-site lunch, we will go on our first game drive through the reserve. You have a good chance of tracking down the Big Five (elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, and leopard). Masai Mara National Reserve
Day 3Masai Mara National Reserve Masai Mara National Reserve After breakfast, we will embark on a full day game drive in the Masai Mara. This reserve is famous for its savannah landscape and its wildlife. You have good prospects of finding all those fascinating animals that can usually only be seen in nature documentaries. We will have a picnic at the Mara River, which borders the Serengeti. This river is part of the Masai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, which is known for hosting the largest wildlife migration on earth. Every year, huge trains of animals cross the brown, foaming river full of crocodiles. Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha
Day 4Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha After breakfast we will make our way to Lake Naivasha, which is the highest and most beautiful lake in the Rift Valley. Upon arrival we will check-in and have lunch before taking a boat tour on the lake. We will enjoy beautiful views of the lake and the local birds. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Lake Naivasha Country Club. Lake Naivasha - Amboseli
Day 5Lake Naivasha - Amboseli Lake Naivasha - Amboseli After breakfast we will drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving at the Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon you are free to relax at the pool or watch the animals at the local waterhole. In the evening you will go on a guided tour (led by some of the local Maasai men) of the nearby Maasai villages. This tour will give you a glimpse into their way of life and daily activities. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Kibo Safari Camp. Amboseli National Park
Day 6Amboseli National Park Amboseli National Park You will spend the full day on a game drive in Amboseli National Park. This is the best place to observe elephants up close. From within the park you can enjoy stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which makes for a beautiful background in photos! Look out for zebras, wildebeest, Thompsonβs gazelles, Grant gazelles, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, lions, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas. When we reach Observation Hill, we will have a magnificent view over the swamp and savannah landscape of the whole park and eat a picnic lunch. We will continue game viewing until the sun goes down and then return to the Kibo Camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Amboseli - Voyager Ziwani
Day 7Amboseli - Voyager Ziwani Amboseli - Voyager Ziwani Today we will drive to Voyager Ziwani Wildlife Sanctuary, which has walking routes that will give you the feeling of being close to the wild. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch and then have a short rest before going on an evening walking safari in the sanctuary. Your guide will help you discover different species of birds, plants, and animals. In the evening we will go on a driving safari so we can locate some of the nocturnal animals that are rarely seen during the day. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp. Ziwani - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Day 8Ziwani - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary Ziwani - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary You will go on an early game drive before breakfast and then return to the camp to eat before making your way to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. You will enjoy a game drive en route as we make our way to the Salt Lick Safari Lodge. After eating lunch at the lodge you will enjoy an afternoon break before going on an evening game drive through the savannah grasslands. We will come across giraffes, elephants, baboons, and other species of animals. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. After eating you will have some time to relax before going on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Day 10Tsavo East - Mombasa Tsavo East - Mombasa We will go on an early morning game drive and explore Tsavo East further before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After eating you will enjoy another game drive on your way out of the park. Look out for animals you might have missed on previous game drives! You will eat lunch at a restaurant outside the park. Later you we will drive to the coast, where you will be dropped off at the Mombasa Airport for your flight home or your hotel for the beginning of your beach holiday.
