Highlands
Day 2Highlands Highlands After your breakfast, you will depart for the west, by crossing the highlands with its fields of rice terraces as in Indonesia, its small villages that will give you a good introduction to the Malagasy way of life. To do so, you will take National Road number 7. You'll have a city tour of Antsirabe by pousse-pousse on your arrival. You'll have dinner in a restaurant and spend the night at Les Chambres du voyageurs. Day 3The Grand Crossing in Morondava The Grand Crossing in Morondava We are now departing for Morondava, the change in landscape and temperature will be felt from Miandrivazo. The highland's typical landscape will give way to the golden savannah and the red laterite characteristic of the Menabe region (whose literal translation is very red region). You'll have a city tour of Morondava upon your arrival, dinner in a restaurant, and an overnight stay at Laguna Beach. Day 5The Great Tsingy The Great Tsingy This day is dedicated to the visit to Bemaraha’s National Park. The great Tsingy awaits. This unique landscape of sharp karst rock forest offers visitors one of the best treks. Combining sometimes steep land trails, visits to caves, and viewpoints at the top of these great peaks of rock, you will also have the opportunity to observe animals such as lemurs or endemic birds, in their natural habitat. Day 6Fosa and Sifaka Fosa and Sifaka We are now heading back to Kirindy after your breakfast. The Kirindy Reserve allows you to encounter the tiniest lemur known to this day and the Fosa, the unique predatory mammal of the island, during the nocturnal visit after your installation to Relais du Kirindy. Betania and Baobabs
Day 7Betania and Baobabs Betania and Baobabs After your breakfast, you will continue to Morondava. After your check-in, you'll visit Betania's village and its mangrove. You will have the chance to meet traditional dhows manufacturers, who will be glad to share with you some of their ancestral knowledge. Around 4:30 pm, you'll head to Baobab Avenue for an aperitif at sundown, a new opportunity to take the best photos in the middle of these giant baobabs under another light and atmosphere. You'll have dinner in a restaurant, and an overnight stay at your hotel le Palissandre Côte Ouest.
