In order to begin your scenic drive to Bwindi national park located in Kanungu district in the southwestern part of Uganda. Approximately a 539-kilometer drive by road from Kampala via Makasa. However, the long drive will provide you with a very adventurous and marvelous scenic drive view of the western vast land. You will have a stopover at the equator for brief photography which will provide future memories about the wonderfully scenic drive to western Uganda. Have an en-route lunch in Mbarara for a brief refreshment for the long journey. And proceed with your adventurous drive to Bwindi later in the day arrive at the lodge in the evening for relaxation dinner and overnight stay. You will drive to the park offices for registration and briefing about gorilla tracking. After all formalities, you will then ascend to the forest according to which gorilla group you have a located to. You may drive to the trekking point or start walking from your office depending on where gorillas are. Trekking might 3-5 hors of full day depending on what gorillas are looking forward to feeding on or why they slept previous night. After they have been spotted, You will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them learning their behaviors and so forth. Later descend to the starting point where you will trekking certificates and the drive to your lodge for relaxation. In the evening, you will have a guided community walk to visit the Batwa People or forest habitats. It is one of the most scenic walks in Bwindi. later drive to Ishasha sector to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Birira River is a class III-IV(+) river, with continuous rapids along the way, which makes for great fun, activity and adrenaline! The level of the river is different throughout the year. However, adrenaline is not the only thing to expect from this trip. As the river lies in a canyon of the majestic Tropical rainforest of West Uganda, you can expect lush green on each side, which you can touch and almost taste as you raft through it. This trip will take roughly the whole day, as we will start around 9AM and be done around 3PM. A Ugandan-Style lunch is included and you will have big rapids as well as relaxed sections, to enjoy the marvelous jungle and white water! Chimpanzee here reside and forage in the gorge, the trek takes about 2-4hours once you have spotted them, you will descend to the starting point as you head to Kazinga channel for a mid-morning boat cruise that will give you high chances of spotting wildlife as most of them come to the shoreline to cool themselves. Ander later drive to the lodge for a hot lunch. Afterwards embark on late noon game viewing through kasenyi plains where there is much grazing animals and cats in large numbers. Later retire at your lodge.
