You will be handed walking sticks and incase of any assistances needed, the porters are always available for hire at a small fee of $20, they help in carrying the bags and lay a hand in steep slopes. Guided by expert trackers and armed rangers, you will vanish into the jungle. The trek could take 2-7 hours, but when you finally see gorillas, lock eyes with a mountain gorilla, watching a family play and groom each other; this is a moment that will change your life, have 1 hour watching them in their natural habitat and create memories. Visit the ancient Batwa people also known as forest people, sing and dance their tunes and participate in their local activities and listen to their survival stories while in the forest.
