Day 1Arusha - Tarangire Arusha - Tarangire After breakfast, the guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park, known as one of the best places to view elephants at close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests, which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then. You will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to the camp for your overnight stay. Day 2Tarangire - Serengeti Tarangire - Serengeti After breakfast, you will head towards the far south of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Ndutu area. This area is bustling with the wildebeest migration on the short-grass plains. The region is also home to large elephant herds, abundant birdlife, and resident wildlife. Ndutu lies at the intersection of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Southern Serengeti, offering a unique wildlife experience. After a day of game viewing, you will proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your safari lodge. Day 3Serengeti Serengeti The Serengeti, the Maasai word for “endless plains”, is famous for its enormous concentration of game, especially the big cats, and for the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. The abundance of plains game in this area is truly astounding. You will enter the park through the lesser-travelled Western corridor and have a game drive en route to the campsite in the centre of the park. In the evening, you will be surrounded by the silence of the African bushveld, pierced only by the calls of the nocturnal wildlife. You will have dinner and spend the night at the lodge. Day 4Serengeti - Ngorongoro Serengeti - Ngorongoro After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and head to the Serengeti for a morning game drive. After lunch, you will proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There is an optional visit to the Maasai Village (at an extra cost). Then, proceed to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Day 5Ngorongoro - Arusha Ngorongoro - Arusha After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up and take you on a crater game drive with your picnic lunch. We venture onto the crater floor for an up-close look at the residents of this World Heritage Site and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater offers excellent game viewing year-round. The wildlife here forms a permanent population because grazing and water are plentiful throughout the seasons. Later, depart for Arusha with lunch en route, arriving in the early evening and we can arrange for accommodation if need be or we drop you at the Airport to connect your flight to the next Destination.
