Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be greeted and driven to Tarangire National Park for an exhilarating game drive. Delight in the abundant wildlife amidst the picturesque landscapes! Tarangire National Park, spanning nearly 3,000km² (1,158mi²), is a place of awe-inspiring beauty. It is renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which gracefully meanders through its terrain. Particularly enchanting during the dry season (June—November), Tarangire boasts wildlife concentrations rivaling those of the Serengeti. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting significant populations of elephants and diverse fauna. With its diverse habitats and perennial water supply, the park harbors over 2,000 elephants and hosts more than 500 bird species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ngare Lodge. Day 2Serengeti National Park Serengeti National Park After breakfast, you will be picked up and embark on a journey to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, soak in the breathtaking views of Tanzania, pause to admire the Ngorongoro Crater, and enjoy the sights of the vast Serengeti Plains. Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, brims with wildlife. Spanning close to 15,000km² (5,790mi²), it is home to over 2 million ungulates, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. But the real thrill comes from witnessing the mesmerizing spectacle of millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and eland as they embark on a mass migration in search of water and fresh grass, determined by rainfall patterns. After an exhilarating safari, lunch will be provided on the vehicle. By late afternoon, you will reach your designated lodge. Here, you can unwind, dine, and reminisce about the unforgettable moments captured during the safari, looking forward to the next day's adventure. Day 4Ngorongoro Crater Ngorongoro Crater Early in the morning, after breakfast you will start descending into the crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. You'll enjoy the beautiful colors of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. You will be able to see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a brief look at the endangered black rhino through the grass. After lunch, you will ascend the steep walls of the crater and head to Ngare Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay. Day 5Visit Ngare sero waterfall in Lake Natron Visit Ngare sero waterfall in Lake Natron Lake Natron with the nearby Ol Donyo Lengai volcano the 'Mountain of God sacred to the Masai is an uncontaminated rugged and particularly fascinating place and allows excursions outside the most tourist circuits, it can be visited from the end of June to the beginning of January. It is a 60 km long alkaline lake located north-east of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area characterized by shades that vary from white to pink and brown depending on the time of year. Its dimensions like its color also vary greatly throughout the year and during the dry season its waters retreat so much as to leave large surfaces of land covered by a thick saline crust uncovered. This particularity is a very welcome environment for pink flamingos which populate this part of Tanzania in large numbers. In the late afternoon depending on your departure flight, drive to your hotel in Arusha or to the airport for departure.
