After enjoying a welcome drink in the beautiful gardens, you will have about 2 hours to unpack and relax. We will collect you for a mind-blowing up-close interaction with Africa's gentle giants, where you will meet Thembo, the African elephant. You will return to your guesthouse early evening after your introduction to the elephants. This gives you the opportunity to view animals from a higher vantage point and a perfect panoramic view. Your guide will use his expert knowledge to help you search for iconic animals in the park, as well as interpret the natural environment. You will stop at various lookout points, waterholes and rivers during your safari to increase your chances of seeing the unexpected, breathtaking scenery. We will provide breakfast packs which you will be able to enjoy at a rest camp or a picnic spot along the route for that day. There will be a lunch stop should you wish to purchase a lunch snack or simply stretch your legs. We return to the guesthouse or accommodation venue at around 15h30. You have time to freshen up, relax, and reminisce over the day's sightings while you enjoy a sundowner drink at the pool or lounge areas. A dinner transfer will be arranged at a convenient time for you. Day 3Blyde River Canyon Panorama Tour Blyde River Canyon Panorama Tour After a leisurely breakfast at your guesthouse, we head out to explore the beauty and splendour of the majestic northern point of the Drakensberg Mountain ranges escarpment. Experience the endless views of the Lowveld from God's Window, and become absorbed by the sheer cutting power of the water as it carves away at Bourke's Luck Potholes. We then head off to see the wonders of the Blyde River Canyon, the largest green canyon in the world. Lunch can be bought en-route at one of the quirky bush venues, or in the quiet town of Graskop. After lunch, we will stop at a few of the waterfalls such as Lisbon & Berlin Falls, before heading to Sabie. You will be absorbed by the beauty of the Lone Creek Falls before making your way back to the guesthouse for a welcome swim and a cold beverage. There will be breakfast packs provided by your guesthouse to enjoy at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, After leaving the Kruger Park at around 11h30, you will be transferred to the shuttle pick up point in Hazyview where you will arrive in time to board the mini-bus shuttle for your road transfer to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. A transfer to the airport can be arranged for your onward travels.
