The flight itself is a breathtaking experience, offering sweeping aerial views of Lake Victoria, the lush central Ugandan landscape, and the terraced highlands of the Kigezi region often called the “Switzerland of Africa.” Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide, who will accompany you for the remainder of your journey. From the airstrip, enjoy a picturesque transfer by road, winding through rolling hills, vibrant villages, and lush forests as you make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your lodge nestled in the forested slopes, where the cool mountain air and symphony of birdsong create a serene atmosphere. Spend the evening relaxing as you prepare for tommorrow. With your packed lunch and trekking gear, you’ll meet your ranger guides at the park headquarters for a briefing before venturing into the dense rainforest. The trek itself is an adventure, leading you along steep slopes, tangled vines, and mist-shrouded trails as you follow the calls and fresh signs of a gorilla family. The anticipation builds until, suddenly, you come face to face with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, after returning from the forest, visit the Batwa are the indigenous forest dwellers of Bwindi, often referred to as the “Keepers of the Forest.” Guided by Batwa elders, you’ll gain insights into their traditional way of life—how they once hunted, gathered honey, and used medicinal plants. Day 3Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable to Kibale National Park with the Scenic landscapes Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable to Kibale National Park with the Scenic landscapes After breakfast as prepared by the professionals at the lodging facility embark on a morning game drive, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the landscapes of Queen Elizabeth National Park and get your eyes set on why life species especially the lions, leopards, African buffaloes and African bush elephants. Several other wildlife species will be observed alongside the beautiful bird species. Transfer to the lodging facility at around midday to get served the afternoon meals. After lunch, you will undertake the boat cruise at Kazinga channel. Cruise through the beautiful landscapes as you observe the wildlife species along the shores of the lakes George and Edward especially the hippopotami, buffaloes and beautiful birds especially the African fish Eagles, African paradise flycatchers, sunbirds, hamerkops, African darters, jacanas and lanner falcons. Transfer back to the lodge at sunset to unwind from the day’s activities, have dinner and rest for the night. Day 4Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale & Return to Entebbe Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale & Return to Entebbe After an early breakfast, set out for an unforgettable adventure in Kibale Forest National Park, famously known as the “Primate Capital of the World.” The park is home to 13 different primate species, but the highlight of your day will be tracking the wild chimpanzees that thrive in its lush rainforest. Accompanied by an expert ranger-guide, you’ll venture into the forest in search of one of the habituated chimpanzee communities. The experience begins with the thrill of listening to their distant pant-hoots echoing through the forest canopy. After this exhilarating morning, return to your lodge for a well-earned lunch and some time to refresh. In the early afternoon, begin the scenic journey back to Entebbe. Depending on your travel plans, you will be dropped off either at your hotel or directly at Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
