In the process, you will traverse the lush countryside dotted with undulating hills that have qualified Rwanda as a land of a thousand hills arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon. You will check into your lodge. Post lunch, you will go for a Batwa Cultural Visit. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2Gorilla Trek and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park Gorilla Trek and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park After an early morning breakfast, you'll walk to the park headquarters for a briefing on the do's and don’ts during gorilla tracking. Thereafter, you will proceed to the gorilla trail. Gorilla tracking normally lasts between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. However, you will be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for at least an hour. You should carry a packed lunch, which will be provided, as one cannot determine how long it may take to encounter the mountain gorillas. Later, you'll transfer back to Musanze for dinner and an overnight stay. Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Day 3Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Nyungwe National Park Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Nyungwe National Park You'll wake up for an early breakfast and transfer to the park head offices in Kinigi by 7:00 am. You'll join up with the other golden monkeys' trekkers, meet the ranger guide for a few minutes talking about the activity, and by 8.00 am you'll transfer to the trailhead just outside the park. You'll enjoy great views of the mountain scenery as you start your trek into the park to find the golden monkeys. The golden monkeys live near the edge of the park in the bamboo forests where the ground is relatively flat and easy to trek. You'll find the monkeys and follow them as they feed, notice how they skillfully pick the young bamboo leaves from the tip of the bamboo tree. They may also move out of the park into the potato fields and how they love the potatoes! After an amazing one hour with the golden monkeys, you will return to the trailhead, and drive back. Thereafter, you'll be transferred to Nyungwe via Ruhengeri arriving in the evening. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay. Day 4Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer back to Kigali Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer back to Kigali You'll have breakfast and afterward meet at the park offices for the briefing about the primates and the forest. Afterward, you'll enter the tropical rainforest searching for the shy chimpanzees in the tree branches. While on this walk, expect to spot other primates like the white and black Colobus, vervet monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and mangabeys. More birds can be spotted too in the Nyungwe National Park. After the chimp trek, you will embark on the safari vehicle and drive back to Kigali with lunch en route. Then, you'll drive to the airport for your return flight back home.
