Day 1Transfer to Murchison Falls and Rhino Tracking in Ziwa Transfer to Murchison Falls and Rhino Tracking in Ziwa Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Kampala where you will be met by our guide. Then, you will transfer to North-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, branch off for a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here you'll go for a guided rhino walk and picnic lunch before continuing to Murchison Falls where you start being embraced by the scenery of the park. Check out the narrow gorge of 7 meters wide, because of its steepness, it drops violently into the waterfalls, falling 43 meters. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge. Day 2Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls National Park Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls National Park After your cup of coffee, you'll set off for an early morning game drive for possible sights of elephants, lions, Cape buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, hyenas and if you are lucky, the leopards. You'll return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, you'll go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En route, you'll marvel at the toothsome hippos and crocodiles. Over this 11km stretch, you may see elephants, waterbucks, Uganda kobs and crocodiles. This is also a zone of many bird species like the Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. There you will leave the boat and start your quite heavy hike to the top of the falls (approximately 1 hour). You'll return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight.
