After your morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for refreshments. In the afternoon, you will engage in the bottom of the falls boat cruise, which takes about 2 to 3 hours. During the boat cruise, you will see wildlife species around the water shores such as elephants, hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, and giraffes, as well as different bird species. The journey will take you through the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley, offering views of the lush countryside and traditional homesteads within the Bunyoro and Toro Kingdoms. As you arrive in Fort Portal, clear days may reveal the legendary snowcapped Mountains of the Moon, also known as Mount Rwenzori. Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees, man's closest cousins. At Bigodi Wetland, you can learn how to manufacture crafts and herbal medicines from the people in this area. You will get the chance to sample some of the best gins, beers, and coffees that are produced locally.
