Hluhluwe-iMfolozi is het oudste natuurreservaat van Zuid-Afrika en de plek waar "Operation Rhino" werd gelanceerd, een baanbrekend natuurbeschermingsinitiatief dat de witte neushoorn in de 20e eeuw redde van uitsterven.
