Safari Style Guide
Fly-in Safari
Fly-in safaris use light aircraft (Cessna Caravan, bush planes) to hop between remote camps and lodges, maximizing time in the wilderness and eliminating long road transfers. This is the standard format in Botswana's Okavango Delta and Tanzania's southern parks (Ruaha, Nyerere), where distances between camps exceed 200km. The aerial views are spectacular and transfers double as scenic flights over pristine landscapes.
