Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and proceed to Amboseli. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch. Later, you will embark on an afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya's most popular parks, renowned for its large herds of elephants. During the drive, you may encounter lions, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, and wildebeest. Day 2Amboseli National Park Amboseli National Park After breakfast, you will depart for a full day of game driving, carrying your packed lunch. During the drive, you can spot lions, buffalos, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. The park is home to over 400 bird species, including kingfishers, pelicans, the African fish eagle, and the endangered Malagasy pond heron. Make sure to visit the park's swamps, such as Enkongo Narok Swamp, which attract a variety of animals and birds, making it a perfect spot for a picnic lunch and some relaxation. You also have the option to visit a Maasai village, where you can gain insight into their homes and social structure and enjoy traditional singing and dances. After lunch, you will return to your accommodation in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay. Day 3Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha Drive to Lake Naivasha and check into your lodge. Lake Naivasha is home to a variety of wildlife, including hippos, zebras, giraffes, and numerous bird species. Enjoy an optional guided boat ride in the afternoon, where you can look out for hippos and various bird species. This is a fantastic way to experience the lake's wildlife and scenic beauty. You can also explore Crescent Island on foot, which provides a rare opportunity to walk alongside wildlife in a safe environment. If time permits, consider visiting Hell's Gate National Park. The park is known for its dramatic landscapes, featuring steep cliffs and deep gorges. It also offers activities such as rock climbing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Day 4Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park Depart from Amboseli National Park and head to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. Afterward, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the lake, which is famous for its pink flamingos. Lake Nakuru is home to Kenya's first rhino sanctuary and boasts one of the largest populations of black rhinoceroses in the world, along with a significant number of white rhinos. In terms of predators, you may spot lions and leopards, as well as large pythons that can sometimes be seen crossing the roads or hanging from trees in the dense woodlands. Other wildlife includes Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, long-eared leaf-nosed bats, colobus monkeys, rock hyraxes, waterbuck, impalas, striped hyenas, wildcats, reedbucks, and golden cats.
