Day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park Arusha to Tarangire National Park Your adventure begins with a comfortable drive from Arusha, heading southwest through scenic Maasai plains toward Tarangire National Park—a journey of approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll enter one of Tanzania’s most diverse ecosystems, renowned for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant population, and wide variety of wildlife. You'll enjoy a guided game drive as you explore the park’s rolling savannah and riverbanks, home to lions, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and over 500 bird species. Tarangire offers a quieter, more intimate safari experience perfect for starting your wildlife adventure. Day 4Ngorongro Crater Ngorongro Crater After breakfast, you will leave for an early morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site located west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands of Tanzania. This area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The stunning landscape of Ngorongoro with its vast expanses of highland plains and concentration of wildlife of some 25,000 animals makes this place one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth. The area also combines breathtaking scenery with cultural experiences, as it's home to traditional Maasai communities. Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Day 5Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara via Maasai village. The park derives its name from the Maasai word Manyara, which is the name for the plant Euphorbia Tirucalli, a plant the Maasai people use to grow livestock stockades. Manyara produces a stockproof hedge, which is very durable among other similar kinds. A specimen of Euphorbia tirucalli can be found at the entrance of the gate. The Great Rift Valley belong in the faultline in the earth’s crust, which stretches 8,000 kilometers (4,971 miles) from Turkey to the mouth of the Zambezi River in Mozambique. The fault is so massive that when astronauts landed on the moonm the Rift Valley was clearly visible to them. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Airport for your flight back home. After the game drive, we drive back to Arusha, which concludes your safari.
