Day 1Lake Manyara National Park Lake Manyara National Park You will depart from Arusha after breakfast, and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. In the afternoon, your guide will set up a table for a hot lunch served with a variety of soft drinks. A glass of wine, tea and coffee are also available. You'll continue with the game drive until the evening when you'll check into the lodge for dinner. Afterward, enjoy a night game drive then return to the lodge for your overnight stay. Manyara offers a great introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The park has recorded more than 400 species and a visitor can expect to see 100 of these in a day. You can also expect to see the legendary tree-climbing lions and the large-tusked elephants in the acacia woodland. You'll arrive at Serengeti in the afternoon for a hot lunch set up by your driver. After lunch, you will continue with a game drive in the park until evening. You will then check in to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Serengeti has arguably one of the most exhilarating game viewing experiences in Africa. You'll get to see herds of buffalo and elephant, giraffe, zebra, thousands of eland, wildebeest, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. The broad range of different habitats, including swamps, soda lakes, woodland, and short grassplains, is also exciting to explore. After lunch, you'll depart for Ngorongoro and enjoy an evening crater rim walk. We'll then check in to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 5Ngorongoro Crater Tour Ngorongoro Crater Tour After breakfast, we'll depart for a full-day game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts a deep volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. It is a breathtaking Natural Wonder of the World. We will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the crater, that hosts flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds. A hot lunch will be served in the crater by your safari guide. Late in the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha for drop-off.
