Day 2Ngorongoro Crater Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast, you will drive for 45 minutes to Ngorongoro Crater. After registration at the entrance gate, you will drive 600 meters down to the crater floor, where you will be amazed at the abundance of mammals grazing. The Crater is the best place to see the mighty Big 5. In the afternoon, you will proceed for lunch at a picnic site near a hippo pool (washrooms are available). Later on, you will drive back two hours to Arusha, where you will stay overnight. Optional; you can go for a night tour in Arusha town( drinks at your own expense). On arrival, you will hike to the famous waterfalls. After having a local lunch buffet, you will learn about the history of the Chagga people, who are residents of the Kilimanjaro region. Afterward, you will drive for one hour to Kikuletwa Hot Springs for the rest of the day. In the evening, you will drive to the airport or Arusha.
