Day 1Pick up from Entebbe Airport or from Kampala and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park Pick up from Entebbe Airport or from Kampala and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park We will assign our tour driver guide to pick you up from your hotel or airport in the morning. You will then be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda, a scenic journey of approximately 7 to 8 hours. Along the way, you will stop in Fort Portal town for lunch before continuing to the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range and bordered by Lake Edward and Lake George. The park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including gazelles, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and waterbucks. Lions are often sighted both within the park and near its entrance. Expect to encounter large numbers of hippos and elephants, and keep an eye out for leopards resting in the sunshine. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge, relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay. Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 2Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park Enjoy early breakfast, and then head out for a morning game drive. The 6:30 am game drive is the best time to spot wildlife as animals are most active in the cool morning hours. You will also enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the savannah as the landscape comes alive. During the drive, you will search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and many other species. After lunch, you will enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This channel is famous for its high concentration of hippos, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience. You will also see crocodiles, bathing elephants, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species that gather along the water’s edge. The boat safari is one of the highlights of the tour. After the cruise, you will enjoy a leisurely game drive back to the lodge. Drive from Queen to Entebbe
Day 3Drive from Queen to Entebbe Drive from Queen to Entebbe After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your return journey to Entebbe. The drive offers a final chance to enjoy Uganda’s scenic countryside, passing through rural villages, and roadside markets along the way. You will stop at the Equator for lunch, where you can take memorable photos, explore the craft shops, and enjoy a brief demonstration explaining the equatorial line and its significance. Afterwards, you will continue to Entebbe. Your driver-guide will ensure a smooth and comfortable transfer and will drop you off directly at Entebbe International Airport in time for your onward flight. Alternatively, if preferred, drop-off can be arranged at your hotel or residence in Kampala or Entebbe.
