Day 1Nairobi to Masai Mara Nairobi to Masai Mara Your day begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a scenic 4-hour drive to the iconic Masai Mara. Journey through the Great Rift Valley with a stop to admire the views. Arrive at your lodge or camp for a welcome drink and lunch. After a brief rest, set out on an exciting afternoon game drive. You can expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and, if lucky, the elusive leopard, completing the famed Big Five. You may also see hippos and crocodiles near the Mara River, as well as herds of wildebeest, especially during the migration season. You'll return by sunset for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy the evening by a campfire or under the stars, immersed in the magic and sounds of the African wilderness. After the game drive, begin your scenic journey back to Nairobi, passing through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you may stop at a viewpoint for photos or a quick break to stretch and enjoy the views. You will arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your onward plans.
