Day 1Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide. After a courteous greeting, your guide will provide you with a brief orientation about your safari. You will then embark on a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, while carrying picnic lunch boxes, where you will enjoy an exhilarating wildlife game drive amidst the park’s breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. You'll enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 151 km, where you'll explore a park renowned for its rich wildlife and diverse landscapes. Tarangire, named after the river that sustains its animals during the dry season, is home to a variety of wildlife, including Africa’s largest herds of elephant, hundreds of bird species, and the iconic baobab trees. Established in 1970, it offers fantastic wildlife viewing, bird watching, and opportunities for cultural visits. After your safari adventure, you'll savor your lunch box in the beautiful surroundings of the park. Day 2Karatu to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Karatu to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Today, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend into the crater, and enjoy the game drive inside the crater while carrying Lunch boxes. Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and a natural wonder. Home to over 30,000 mammals year-round, including the Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant), this breathtaking caldera offers a unique safari experience. You'll also spot other wildlife such as zebras, hippos, and wildebeests, as well as a variety of birds, including flamingos, geese, and vultures. You'll enjoy your lunch at the Picnic Area around Ngoitoktok Swamp, where you can relax by the hippo pool and take in the stunning surroundings. Once you finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Kilimanjaro Airport ready for your flight back home to another destination.
