Day 1 04:00 AM – Parked Breakfast at the hotel Collect your packed breakfast from the hotel reception and check out. You will depart from Kigali around 4:30 AM, and the drive to Volcanoes National Park takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours Enjoy the scenic drive through beautiful Rwandan countryside, passing by hills and villages.6:30 AM – 7:00 AM – Arrival at Volcanoes National Park (Kinigi Headquarters) Upon arrival at Kinigi Park Headquarters, you will register and receive a briefing from the park rangers about the gorilla trekking rules, safety guidelines, and etiquette. The briefing usually begins around 7:00 AM 8:00 AM After the briefing, you will be divided into groups and assigned to different gorilla families. The trek itself typically takes 1-4 hours depending on the location of the gorillas that day. After your time with the gorillas, you will return to Kinigi Headquarters. Lunch will follow at one of the nearby Lodges or restaurants. After lunch, you will drive back to Kigali.
