Day 1 You are met and picked up in the morning at the hotel and transferred to the Mokoro station by a Travel Creations Botswana guide. When you get to the Mokoro station you will be taken in a Mokoro by professional and knowledgeable guides and polers provided by the Okavango Mokoro Community Trust. Our activities include watching wildlife while gliding in a mokoro and walking on the island, which gives you the best chance to discover and learn about traditional medicinal trees and herbs that were used in the past by the inhabitants of those islands. You will navigate the delta through the papyrus and tall grass, have a chance to swim at designated areas, and even learn how to navigate a mokoro. You will have a chance to see different species of aquatic wildlife and land animals in close proximity. All meals are provided. Our Mokoro full-day trip will start at 7:00 am and will end around 4:00 pm in Maun.
