Mfuwe is accessible on direct flights from Lusaka. You will stay for 1 night at Mfuwe Lodge in a Luxury chalet including all meals, game activities, and park fees. Activities offered here include game drives and walking safaris in South Luangwa Park. Set within the banks of two lagoons, Mfuwe Lodge's comfortable charm, and calm surroundings make it a lovely stopover point before going onto the more remote camps in southern South Luangwa. The lodge is set in the park 5 min away from the main gate. Each chalet is kitted out with modern furniture standing on polished stone floors offering views of the lagoon and game viewing. The wildlife viewing in the area is impressive. Giraffes, hippos, antelopes, and crocodiles are seen regularly from Mfuwe's lagoon.
