Your breakfast will be packed in lunchboxes specifically for this purpose. This way you will catch the precious morning hours in the Ngorongoro Crater when the animals are most active and extremely engaging to watch. At 6:30 AM you will set off for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and in about an hour you will already be inside the crater. Ngorongoro is one of the most famous and exciting of Tanzania's national parks! Here you can find the highest concentration of animals and the widest diversity per square kilometer. You will have the chance to see buffalos, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and such feline species as caracals and servals. The luckiest travelers might even see rhinos, whose numbers are rapidly declining today. You will have lunch near the lake inhabited by hippos and continue your safari around the crater.
