After that, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch and continue covering various ecosystems from open savannah to acacia woodlands and riverine forests. As you continue your journey to Ngorongoro, you’ll be treated to views of lush highland forests and small Maasai villages. The road climbs up to the crater rim, where you will have your first glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive caldera formed by an ancient volcanic eruption. The sight of this natural amphitheater is truly awe-inspiring. You'll be heading to Arusha for an overnight stay.
