Day 3Fly to Moremi's Doorsteps Fly to Moremi's Doorsteps After breakfast, you'll transfer to Kasane for the scheduled flight to Mankwe's airstrip. You'll have a road transfer to the lodge via a meandering drive. Mankwe, meaning “mother leopard,” is a serene sanctuary situated on a private concession east of the Moremi Game Reserve. The Moremi and surrounding concession areas boast an incredible mix of dry forest, open plains, and seasonal pans. This transitional zone supports elephant, zebra, wildebeest, and large predators like lion and wild dog. Keep your camera ready for sightings of bat-eared foxes, honey badgers, and raptors soaring above the plains. You'll experience your first game drive in the late afternoon and return to the lodge for dinner.
