Day by Day
Itinerary
Arusha
You'll get picked up from your location and head to Arusha to link up with your group. From there, it's on to Tarangire National Park for a game drive where you'll see those massive baobab trees scattered across the landscape and plenty of elephants roaming around. Lunch happens at the Tarangire River picnic site, so you can eat while watching wildlife come down to the water.
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll travel through farmland and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, then head down into Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you to Seronera, which sits along the Seronera River and acts as a major wildlife gathering spot. You'll arrive with enough time to have lunch and then get out for an afternoon game drive.
Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive gets you out before most wildlife heads into shade. Then you'll leave Serengeti and travel toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a quick breakfast, there's another game drive to catch more animals during the morning hours. Back at camp for lunch and to pack up, followed by one final game drive as you exit Serengeti and head toward Simba Campsite, which sits near the Ngorongoro crater rim.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Following breakfast, you'll descend more than 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater to see the wildlife below. The crater holds massive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo alongside elephants, and you'll spot plenty of predators too, including lions, hyenas, and leopards. A stop at Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern part of the crater, gives you chances to see flamingos, hippos, and various water birds.
