Tour Overview
4 Days Serengeti Tanzania Safaris. This is a budget group tour (in a custom safari jeep with a pop-up roof) accompanied by a guide/driver. this tour takes you around the famous north circuit parks, the Ngorongoro crater being the highlighted park with its beautiful landscapes & surreal view of the crater & it is easier seeing animals as it is a crater floor, the Tarangire being like a smaller Serengeti but famous for the many numbers of elephants so this tour gives you adequate time in the parks to view wild animals and to relax it is a good tour if you are passionate to explore animals.
Day by Day
Itinerary
Arusha
After your morning briefing, you'll head into Tarangire National Park for your first wildlife viewing. The park's tree savannah is dotted with baobab trees, and you can expect to see large elephant herds along with giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, and various antelopes throughout the day. Around midday you'll stop at a picnic spot for lunch, then continue exploring the park before reaching your campsite for the night.
Tarangire National Park
You'll depart for the Serengeti, traveling through the highland farmland around Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There's an optional stop at a Maasai village if you want to learn about their culture, though this costs 10-20 USD and isn't part of your tour price (about 20-45 minutes). From there you'll descend into the Serengeti heading toward Seronera, an area known for wildlife around the Seronera River. You'll arrive in time for lunch, then do an afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight at camp.
Serengeti National Park
Start early with a morning game drive in the Serengeti before you head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After breakfast you'll explore the park looking for animals, then return to camp for lunch. You'll pack up afterward and take another game drive while leaving the Serengeti, arriving at the Ngorongoro campsite for your overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You'll depart early from Ngorongoro and travel back through the conservation area, keeping watch for predators that are more active during the cooler morning hours. Lunch happens at a designated picnic spot along the way. Once you reach the crater's edge, the 19 km caldera comes into view before you descend inside for exploration. The crater is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) plus over 25,000 seasonal animals and lots of different birdlife. After exploring, you'll exit via a different road and drive to Arusha for your final night at a hotel.
