From here we drive through beautiful countryside and vast grazing lands, chances of meeting the Ankole long-horned cattle are high, which is a free complimentary, on arrival; at the park, we will enjoy a game drive before checking in, and expect to spot various giraffes, hippos, errands, buffalos, impalas, zebras and so many birds, after the game drive we drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2Morning walking safari and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park Morning walking safari and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park After breakfast we head out for a big day, A walking safari is the only way you can get up close to wildlife, many animals that would be sacred by the noise of the can feel more comfortable with a silent encounter, walking safaris involve armed rangers who will ensure your safety, forget 100m photos, on a walking safari you will get as close as possible as long as you obey the required distance from wildlife, take lots of photos at your pace, get close to nature and mingle if you are a selfie person this is your chance, after the safari, we will be waiting for you to transfer to Bwindi meanwhile awaiting our big day the next morning, we will have our lunch en route and do some shopping along the way incase you need anything specific, then proceed to Bwindi. Day 3Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park We will begin the day with an early breakfast. Your guide will pick you up and escort you to the park offices for a briefing on gorilla trekking. You will be assigned to a gorilla group and have the option to hire a porter for $20 USD. Please ensure your lodge arranges a packed lunch and drinking water. Gorilla trekking can last from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the assigned gorilla family. Once you spot the gorillas, feel free to take as many photos as you like, while following the instructions of the wardens and guides. After the trek, we will visit the Batwa Village in Rushaga to learn about the indigenous community’s way of life. Expect cultural performances, storytelling, and insights into their lives following eviction from the forest. Following the visit, we’ll return to the lodge, where you can enjoy a bonfire and stargazing at the edge of the jungle.
