Upon arrival in Hazyview, will be collected by an Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris guide and transported to your accommodation at the 4-star Guesthouse. After a welcome drink in the beautiful and bird-rich gardens of the guesthouse, you will have about 2 hours to unpack and relax before you are collected for your introduction to Thembo at Elephant Whispers for our 1-hour interaction program. We will get the opportunity to meet the magnificent African elephants, learn about their extraordinary behavior and physiology, observing first-hand how the elephants have developed trust in the kindness and care they receive from the team. After the interaction, we will return to your guesthouse accommodation, allowing you time to prepare for your dinner. Transfer to a local restaurant when convenient for you. Day 2Kruger National Park Kruger National Park The safari to the Kruger National park will start before sunrise in an open safari vehicle which gives you the opportunity to view animals from a higher vantage point and a perfect panoramic view. Your guide will use his expert knowledge to help you search for and find the iconic animals in the park as well as interpret the natural environment. You will stop at various lookout points, waterholes, and rivers during your safari to increase your chances of seeing as many of the fauna & flora that the park has to offer as well as breath-taking scenery of the different areas of the park. You will be provided with breakfast packs which you will be able to enjoy at a rest camp. There will also be a lunch stop should you wish to purchase a lunch snack or simply stretch your legs. You will return to your guesthouse after your safari allowing time for relaxation and a sundowner drink at the swimming pool. Your dinner transfer will be ready for you at the scheduled time convenient to you. Day 3Kruger Morning Safari & Transfer to the Private Game Reserve Kruger Morning Safari & Transfer to the Private Game Reserve Once again we rise before the sun and set out for your final morning safari in the Kruger National Park before you set off to the private game reserve. Breakfast packs will again be provided by your guesthouse for you to enjoy at one of the picnic spots or rest camps. After leaving the park at around 11:15 am, you will be transferred back to the guest house to collect your luggage, before we drive you to Umkumbe Safari Lodge in the Sabi Private game reserve where you will arrive in time to unpack, relax overlooking the Sand River whilst waiting for the 16h00 sunset safari. Your safari experience in the private game reserve will be different from that experienced in Kruger Park as you will experience some off-roading in a 4x4 Landrover with no roof which allows for a 360-degree view, ideal for the perfect photographic and video opportunity. After the sunset/evening safari you will have the opportunity to dine in true African bush style under the stars around a boma fire.
