Day 1Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, then drive to Tarangire National Park Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, then drive to Tarangire National Park Program of the Day: Today, our friendly driver will pick you up at your hotel in Zanzibar at 7:00 AM after breakfast and transfer you to the airport. You'll have an 8:00 AM flight, soaring from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport at 9:15 AM, our expert driver-guide will greet you. After a short briefing of your safari, he will take you on a scenic drive to the breathtaking Tarangire National Park for a wildlife game drive, just 2 hours from Arusha. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and iconic giant baobab trees. The park has a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. It is the only source of water for wild animals here during the dry season. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Day 2Karatu to Serengeti National Park Karatu to Serengeti National Park Program of the Day: After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park for an amazing and beautiful game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge/camp for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay. Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life. Day 3Serengeti National Park to Karatu Near Ngorongoro Conservation Area Serengeti National Park to Karatu Near Ngorongoro Conservation Area Program of the Day: You wake up early and enjoy a fantastic game drive in Serengeti National Park before you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the afternoon. We will stop for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay. Your accommodation for the night will be near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life. The following morning, you will descend into the crater to see the animals, as they are more active in the morning than during the rest of the day. Main Destination: Serengeti National Park Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge Mid-range lodge located in Karatu (Town) Meals & Drinks: All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha
Day 4Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha Program of the Day: After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Once you finish the game drive, you will be transported to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your air transfer back home or to another destination where our safari concludes. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that constitutes the world's largest uninterrupted caldera and one of Africa's natural wonders. Around 30,000 large mammals, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, and various birds, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards, are residents all year round. So be ready to see many animals in a short time and experience the nomadic society that lives together with wildlife in the crater without harming one another. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home or to another destination.
