Where to See Elephants

Africa's elephant population is approximately 415,000, concentrated in southern and eastern savanna ecosystems. Botswana holds the largest population (over 130,000), followed by Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. Chobe National Park, Amboseli, and Hwange offer the most reliable elephant encounters with large herds visible daily.
