Where to See Buffalos

Cape buffalo are found across sub-Saharan Africa in herds of up to several thousand individuals, making them one of the most commonly sighted Big Five animals. They are abundant in Kruger, the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, Chobe, and Queen Elizabeth National Park. Buffalo are considered the most dangerous of the Big Five to encounter on foot.
