The east road provides a panoramic view as we travel. We will stop in Marozevo to visit the small Pereyras Reserve, a breeding center for various butterflies, chameleons, reptiles and amphibians native to Madagascar. Next, we will enjoy a relaxing meal in Moramanga before visiting the local market for a short exploration. Finally, we will continue our journey to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, where we will explore the private Vakona Reserve. Here, you can get close to lemurs, feed them (make sure to bring bananas), and photograph them on your shoulder. We will spend the night at a hotel. This park is situated in a wetland area, enabling us to discover many endemic flora and fauna native to this region. It is the only national park that is home to the largest lemur in Madagascar, the famous indri-indri. Manambato is three hours from Andasibe after passing through Brickaville. It is situated on the shores of Lake Rasoabe. After this, we will need to cross part of the Pangalanes Canal.
