Day 1Arrival Arrival Arrive by aircraft into Kigali. Meet and greet assistance at the airport. You will be handed over to and warmly welcomed by our representative. Transfer to city hotel for check in. Before dinner tonight we will have the opportunity for formal introductions and to run over the exciting program for your upcoming Rwanda tour. Overnight. Day 2Kigali-Nyungwe National park ( kings palace museum & ethnographic musium) Kigali-Nyungwe National park ( kings palace museum & ethnographic musium) Enjoy an early breakfast and check out. At 7:00 AM, set off for Nyungwe National Park. En route, you will visit the King’s Palace and the Ethnographic Museum in Huye. The Ethnographic Museum is one of the six museums that make up the Institute of National Museums of Rwanda. This Museum was built in 1987, and now houses one of Africa's finest ethnographic collections. Its seven galleries display historical, ethnographic, artistic and archaeological artifacts accompanied by visual aids, giving visitors a rich insight into the culture of Rwandans. Lunch will be served at Stafford Restaurant in Huye. After lunch, you will proceed to Nyungwe National Park. Upon arrival, check-in assistance will be provided, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3Nyungwe national park ( chimpanzee trek and canopy walk) Nyungwe national park ( chimpanzee trek and canopy walk) On this day at 05h00 you will get your packed breakfast and drive to the park headquarters. Upon arrival, you will have Chimpanzee trek briefing and formalities. You will then proceed with your guide to the evergreen life. Luckily you may be welcomed by chimp morning calls deep in the forest upon encountering the chimps, you will be allowed to stay in their presence for one hour as you enjoy their acrobats, feeding life and their day today behaviors. 10h00: After this amazing experience, proceed to the hotel, where you will rest and relax. Lunch will be at 12h45. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure and enjoying the surroundings of your hotel. 13h45: Drive to the park headquarters for briefing before you do your guided canopy walk that starts at 15h00. Hanging 60 meters above the forest floor between giant trees and towers. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Spend your morning relaxing and exploring the hotel surroundings, including the swimming pool. Lunch will be served, and in the late afternoon, you will visit the nearby Gisakura Tea Plantation.. Gisakura Tea Plantation, located near Nyungwe National Park in Rwanda, is a stunning destination known for its lush green landscapes and high-quality tea production. Established in the 1950s, the plantation spans over 1,200 hectares and is one of the largest tea producers in the region. Visitors to Gisakura can explore the picturesque fields, where rows of vibrant tea bushes stretch across rolling hills, creating a breathtaking backdrop for photos. The plantation offers guided tours that provide insight into the tea production process, from plucking the leaves to processing and packaging. Guests can also learn about the cultural significance of tea in Rwanda and the sustainable farming practices employed at the plantation. After lunch, continue your journey to Kigali, with an anticipated arrival in the evening in time for your outbound journey. Bid farewell to your driver-guide as you conclude your trip.
