Day 2Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Morning: • Gorilla Trekking: After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking protocols. Then, embark on an exhilarating trek through the dense forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from a few hours to most of the day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you find them, you will spend up to an hour observing these majestic creatures. • Afternoon: • Lunch and Rest: After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch and rest. • Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: Later in the afternoon, transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, known for its stunning views and numerous islands.
